2004 Hond Civic - 40,000 m/64,000 km/ This is what happens when you run conventional oil for 20,000 km without an oil change, it turns into sludge! One of our customers from Texas sent these images of the filter after a two week use with the Filtro Max. Despite synthetic oil and regular filter maintenance, the Filtro Max pulled a substantial amount of contaminants otherwise not captured by the oil filter.

Tests conducted by Finning Canada, ISO 9002 testing facility found the Filtro Max to be "...non-selective according to size of particles, capturing very large particles (observed up to 1mm) down to particles around 1 micron or even smaller...potentially extending life of moving parts, oil life...potential benefits of the Filtro Max...are varied...it removes large proportions of the ferrous metal particles...particles tend to be very hard metals, and very abrasive. Keeping these particles from circulation in the system would keep them from causing more abrasive wear of the moving parts...most metals, ferrous and non-ferrous, were trapped by the Filtro Max...very small particles were captured by the Filtro Max, whereas the average size of particles found in the filter element were much larger...
