| Will it void my warranty? |
| The Filtro Max will not void manufacturers warranty. The Filtro Max follows all the same guidelines and regulations conventional oil filters and oil do under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Improvement Act from the Federal Trade Commission. |
| Is it easy to install? |
| The Filtro Max installs in seconds. Once the filter is on, simply attach the Filtro Max to the top of the filter. Be very careful, its magnetic attraction is over 75 lbs of pull strength. To remove, simply slide the Filtro Max off the oil filter, do not pull! For transmissions and differentials, simply place on the transmission pan and/or differential case. |
| Mileage for use? |
| The Filtro Max can be used on any mileage vehicle. Great for new engines during the "breaking in period. " Excellent for mid mileage engines to minimize further wear, and for high mileage engines to maximize engine life. |
| Are oil changes enough? |
| No, simply changing your oil and filter is not enough. Even under scheduled maintenance, metal to metal contact will happen. Even the newest and cleanest of engines will suffer damaging metal to metal contact. Cold start ups, extreme temperatures, low grade oils, low quality oil filters, and prolonged oil changes will cause more metal to metal wear than usual. Removing metal contaminants is one step that may save your engine, transmission and differential from premature wear. |
| How long will it last? |
| The Filtro Max is made to last oil change after oil change. Simply remove it or tell the mechanic to remove it and replace it with every oil change. Its magnetic pull strength will not wear out with use. Made from anti-corrosive zinc coated steel and high temperature thermo plastic, the Filtro Max will protect your vehicle year after year. |
| Will it work on my vehicle? |
| The Filtro Max will work on all vehicle makes and models. From collector cars, sports cars, suv's, light trucks, heavy duty vehicles, motorcycles, and any other vehicle that uses a conventional metal oil filter. Do not forgert transmissions and differentials too. |
